The Bengals have been really good after their bye weeks historically in the Zach Taylor era.

The caveat here is that this is by far the earliest their bye has ever been, their bye coming in week two.

What are we in week six this year? And in the past few years, it's been between week nine and 12, I think every single year of the Zach Taylor era, if I'm not mistaken.

And so it's a little bit of a difference in terms of the, in terms of the timing this year, but Zach Taylor and Joe Burrow, when they've gotten back on the field together after by have led the Bengals to a great deal of success in this period of Bengals history.

And they come out of that bye week, and they have maybe the most complete game they've ever had in the Zach Taylor era with play action under center.

If you were watching back then, which I hope most of the listeners were, it wasn't that long ago.

That was one of those, like, oh my, yeah, this team is just about to get going again.

In 2023, it was a very weird year because we had the calf injury at Joe Burrow, and then everything didn't look right for a few weeks.

But yes, I looked up some numbers and Zach Taylor as the head coach is three and four in the game directly after the bi-week.

And Zach Taylor, people that don't want to believe in Zach Taylor or whatever the case is, we'll use that number.

But how about with Joe Burrow? And how about since 2021? Because I kind of feel like that is this era of Bengals, Jake.

Whenever I look at the numbers, I look at 2021 and beyond because I don't expect anything out of Rookie Bureau, and they only played half the season anyways.
