Chronic Illness but still Following Christ through it !
Kaylen SorianoGuestRob LeachHostSo is there out of all the stuff that you experienced throughout your life, is there anything that profound that you want to leave to somebody that would be watching this that would resonate with them?

One thing that I can, that sticks out to me a lot is don't shut yourself away from people.

Like it's the one place where sure God can prepare you and refine you and, um, work with you if you're reading your word and praying and really seeking him.

But sometimes people get isolated and then that's where the enemy wants you to, he wants you alone.

And then if you believe the lie and then you're consumed by all the lies and then you shove everyone out and then you're like, well, it's just me because I don't want to deal with people.

But the opposite is true is that when you find good, meaningful connections with then they can sharpen you.

They can be like, Hey, what do you need? What's going on? Like, how can we help? How can we pray for you? How can we bring you a meal? How can we help you find a ride to where you need to go? How can we support you during this difficult time? And that's something that I just, as a person that became introverted after my health issues, seeing how people would treat me.

Or seeing how people are just kind of like, oh, well, I don't know about being around them.

Or I'd have a seizure in front of someone and then they'd be deciding they weren't talking to me anymore.

Maybe they were even upset that I wouldn't tell them because I was very secretive too.

But there have been times I've taken it to a capacity where I was just like, I would talk to people only if I had to when leaving the house.

Otherwise, I was just like, I am not interested in forming friendships with anybody.
