Ep197: The Knowledge Gap: As veteran architects retire, the profession risks losing hard-won knowledge, mentorship, and judgment no handbook can replace.

This is one where it looked at age mostly in the profession and some information about the idea of those leaving the profession and those entering the profession.

So if we just talk about age to start with, or the basis for this is sort of the notion that I looked up some information and the average age of an architect is about 51 years old.

So if you Google this yourselves, there may be some different information from the Bureau of Labor and Statistics, which puts it about five years or six years younger, like 46 something.

So to compare that to other, I would say, careers or professions, doctors are actually a little bit higher, where their average age is 54.

According to, again, not the Bureau of Labor, but Medical Association, the AMA.

And then lastly, because I found this was an interesting correlation that when I was doing my research, it came up.
