Okay, so Milan Fashion Week, the Spring 2027 shows ran from September 22nd to 28th in Milan, obviously.

I'm gonna recap some of my favorite shows, and I wanna start with Prada, one, because they did show, they opened up Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week, presenting on the first day.

It's one of my favorite labels, and Miuccia Prada is, like, an icon, and I need to meet her someday.

The collection was titled The Skirt, because every look included a skirt, which was so much fun.

It actually reminded me of when [laughs] I was in first grade, and I refused to wear anything but a skirt to school.

So every look I wore in first grade had to be a skirt, or I would accept a skort.

Nara Smith and Chiara Ferragni, who is an Italian fashion influencer who I also love.

And so, of course, Prada had, you know, the best crowd in attendance to see all these fabulous skirts walk the runway.

And so it was explained that this collection was really a merging of decades, right? Between the 1990s, the minimalism that was so prominent in fashion then, and the early 2000s, maximalist, fun, blingy, very Y2K, right? And I think it's so smart to draw inspiration from both of those times and merge them together because both of those decades, the 1990s and the early 2000s, have been so trending and so loved by the younger generations.

Everyone's wanting to dress like we did back in 1995, right? So I loved seeing those two decades come together for this collection.

The skirts were mainly midi skirts, around knee-length or a little bit lower than the knee, and a lot of them were styled with these tiny little bralettes, which was really fun.

There was this one look, and it was all black, an all black midi skirt with a tiny little tube top bralette situation going on and a bare midriff, and it was simple but also so cool and elegant.
