privilege is a shield i feel like people can feel the the innate power and just the divinity of black people the intensity black women specifically yeah and they don't know how their insecurities rub up against it so that fear creates hatred and all kinds of it's inadequacies

yeah and i think there's a difference between conceptually knowing something yeah and embodied knowing embodied knowing is lived experience yeah you know like even with me teaching akara I'm doing that in the process of me still becoming as well.

And so there are things that I go through.

And even in these last couple of weeks, how I've been showing up to class, I just love it.

I did not feel... like I was seen in any of those situations.

And I felt like I went against myself and I betrayed myself.

And it took me a minute to realize that the betrayal, that the reason why these situations keep coming up, because you still ain't took accountability for the shit that you saw.

Cause I'm a medium.

Let me tell you something about my ancestors.

They'll put it in my dream.

Yeah.

I don't even got to go too far.

We ignore

red flags when we want to.

And I will forever be my own best friend.

Right.

You know, it's good to have best friends outside of myself, but I am my own best friend first because I believe or what spirit told me, As 90% comes from you, 10% other people.

And so I follow that in everything that I do.

Yeah.

But you said something in a class a few weeks ago that really messed me up in the best way that

you heard from your guys.
