So on the 9th of October, seems like a long time ago, given all the bad news cycles for Donald Trump with a couple of weeks to go before the election.

But just on the 9th of October, the judge ordered that they produce in a redacted format certain FBI interview notes that were in handwriting.

Page two of the order, the court requested redacted versions of the documents because defendants had represented that handwritten nature of the notes further complicates the redaction process and increases the risk of inadvertent disclosure of victim personal identifying information, including because of technical limitations of the department's ability to run meaningful quality control checks.

I don't think the judge believed them and said, take those pages, there's about 40 of them, and go redact.

The court previously rejected defendant's explanation that it did not produce these underlying interview notes because they are substantially similar to and therefore duplicative of the typewritten notes.

In the event the defendant misunderstood the court's request, the court will order defendant to provide redacted versions of the interview notes a second time.

That was on the 9th, and the judge said he wanted that done by the 16th at 12 p.m., Well, we come along to the 16th.
