So... um i guess we're going to be freezing but happy fall to everyone and um i don't know still getting over this football loss and i know ash you're getting over the yankees loss so maybe a bad morning of sports but so um let's go maybe straight to the markets then um We have the NASDAQ hitting all-time highs yesterday and then also as we are speaking today.

We've talked about this now for, I don't know, Ash, you got to fact check how many weeks we were ahead of this.

We saw over the last few days, starting with the job report Friday, and we had a crazy whipsaw in treasury market.

But yesterday and today, treasuries continue to fall off all-time highs, 4.22%, I believe, at the time of this recording, causing Dow up over 300 points.

And so just to unpack, I guess the consumer, because this market has been really bifurcated between the AI kind of tech run up and resurgence.

And then all these consumer stocks that seem to be falling off a cliff, Home Depot, Pepsi, anything impacting the consumer.

We talked about on the snaps Friday that there's now a 70 plus percent chance of the Fed doing nothing in October, which is a big shift from about three weeks ago when there was a mid 60s percent chance that they would raise rates again.

as I feel like I always do to start the show, but you chime in on what you're seeing and your thoughts are on the markets and interest rates.
Like you said, I think all eyes continue to be on the Federal Reserve given the environment they are now back in, seeing them kind of making this rate change again.
So it will be interesting to see how the Fed minutes, coupled with a lot of this economic data that's restarting to kick off Q4, will impact their decision and the economy, I guess, overarching.
But it looks like...
Everyone's looking at these minutes to kind of see what it'll shed light on for kind of this policy change.
