when you're cooking a meal, sometimes when you're cleaning the house, sometimes when you're outside doing chores.
But most of the time, when they want to be of service, what ends up happening? They end up making a mess.
Their service to the family becomes a great disservice to the family.
Is that their intention? It's really not.
They want to help the family.
In the same respect, many of us as Christians want to be of service to Christ.
We want to serve Christ.
We want to sacrifice Christ.
We're excited, but at some point our service can turn from being a service to being a Disservice.
And the way that this comes about is that a toddler, at times, should what? Should serve from relationship.
That they are a child in our family, and what do they need to do? They need to be still.
They can't fry a chicken.
No.
And so in the same respect, sometimes we get out of shape, we get worried, we get anxious, we get bitter, we get all bent out of shape as God's people.
Many times because we are serving for Christ, but we're not serving from Christ.
We're not serving from a place of the overflow of worship, but we're wore out and we're spread thinned.
And so as we look at Luke chapter 10, verses 38 through 42, we find one of these ladies who wanted to serve Christ, but in her eagerness to serve, she began a disservice to Christ.
