Kyle Larson & Bob Pockrass

Um, Plenty to discuss on the Cup Series side of things.

Kyle Larson, obviously, is the man of the hour.

We will have him here on the show momentarily as well.

Where do you guys want to start? Do you want to start with the final lap? Do you want to start with how Larson's team answered the call? Because we were all talking after the last race, like, oh, my, they had such an off weekend.

Like, this was not characteristic of them.

But then they come out and do things that are also not characteristic of them at Talladega because it's been a place he's struggled in the past.

Yeah,

I mean, they...

A place that he struggled is, I feel like that's saying it nicely.

I don't know if they've really finished very many speedway races.

It feels like they never finished.

They run well.

They're always in the mix, but they never really finish a race where they run.

And for Kyle to really, I don't know, almost Pied Piper the field for a while of that race, especially when it was getting down to crunch time.

And when they spit him out, like the top came in all of a sudden, and there were three wide, and then the bottom just lost all their energy.

And I'm like, oh, he's cooked.

Yeah, I was like, he's buried back there.

He's not going to make it right.

And then the wreck happens.

And then he's somehow he made his way back up front before the wreck happens.

And then I thought he was cooked again, going down the backstreet.

I'm like, oh, Austin Hill just left him and hung him out to dry.

And he's cooked again.

And he just like never quit.

And the resilience of that group and that driver and he's everyone was kind of like bagging on if is he really, you know, one of the best in the world.
