Greg StockerHostI'll give you Kevin Bethel's statement as well of a couple... as a couple other people chiming in on this story as well with, uh, a good, um, understanding and grasp of what the options are as far as perhaps justice, uh, in this story.
But Dawn, uh, your, your thoughts, because I know you mentioned when you headlined it in news, it is very, very unusual for a district attorney to skip a press conference like that-

So why is that? He knew that even, for example, that even the other so-called mainstream media reporters are all covering this situation, and so it wouldn't just be Kristen Johansen, who's the crime and justice reporter from our sibling station, from our sister station, KWOD News Radio.

Remember, in the past, Kristen, they tried to ban her from news conferences before.

And for him to release a little video of himself and avoid taking questions from news reporters is ridiculous.

Um, I've been reporting on, on the case of, of Krasner under fire, um, and this went before the US Department of Justice for that investigation.

This dated back to the 2009 case of, uh, Dennis Johnson's 2009 second-degree murder conviction review, and that was Judge Diamond's 40-page opinion that cited potential perjury, obstruction of justice, false statements, conspiracy, alleging that DA Krasner actually pressured subordinates to protect the office and then put forth a false narrative during evidentiary hearings.

And so what I think we're seeing from multiple different aspects is DA Larry Krasner, his, what I'll call overall disgraceful actions, uh, coming home to roost.

I mean, boomeranging back to him, and I think that's a good thing for him to be held accountable.
