Hot Girls Read the Room

There are so many current events that I wanna catch up with you on.

Okay, here we go.

And I don't wanna bore everyone to death, but this specific one is so important to me because...

So it's, it's of the reading community, but it is, it can be applied to not just the reading community, okay?

Okay.

There is a woman who owns a company called Ally Rose Co.

Ally Rose Co. is, we'll say, new-ish to the, to the book community, like myself.

Mm-hmm.

Within the last five years has really gotten into reading, loves reading, does the reading stuff.

Okay.

Book club, merch, all the things.

Ally Rose Co. goes on Instagram and she posts a thing that says that she started really reading in 2023.

Proceeds to say in this post that she has now trademarked the words hot girls read.

The discourse in the reading and book community surrounding this is absolutely insane.

Um, and people are pissed and, and at first I was conflicted about it 'cause I'm like, to me-

I feel very conflicted.

T- at first I was.

At first I was like, it's one of those things, early bird gets the worm, so, like, you trademarked it.

But then I start l- seeing...

I mean, this was taking over my timeline without ever even wanting to see it.

Okay.

So every video is like...

Every small business, in addition to Ally Rose Co., has used hot girls read, and it has changed and uplifted and helped their business in so many ways.

Nobody has trademarked it before, and it's helped everybody's business, not just hers.

Yeah.
