Jungle Roar Postgame Bengals Shock Ravens With 35 point Second Half, Earn Huge Road Win

They were down 13 to nothing skinny.

And a lot of people, and I think rightfully so, had them written off.

How could this happen? Bengal team, coached by Zach Taylor, come out of the bye looking so unprepared, so unmotivated.

You know who else felt the same way? Jamar Chase.

And he read the team, the riot act at halftime.

He was pissed off.

He said, this shit's got to stop.

And I'm not mincing words here, but that's what had to happen.

You had to have one of your leaders step forward and and take some ownership and make other players in the room feel like they need to step forward and execute.

And what happened? Well, Joe Burrow threw four touchdown passes in the second half.

He was 16 of 18 passing.

He was almost perfect.

threw for 240 of his 289 yards in that second half.

And the Bengals boat raced, a great skinny term I love to use, boat raced the Baltimore Ravens 35 to nothing in the second half.

It was really a sight to behold.

And to me, what Jamar Chase said at halftime really woke them up.

Can you imagine in the NFL, how many teams, I mean literally how many teams, and you may have a stat now that you're going to lay on me, which is fine.

I don't know the stat.

How many teams have ever outscored another team 35 to nothing and a half? Right? Like, did the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ever get outscored 35-0 in their expansion year? Or the Seattle Seahawks? That doesn't happen in a half of football.

And I guarantee you it doesn't happen when you're 13-0 down.

And it's the old story.

It's the table of two halves.

And it clearly was.

It was the weirdest game I've ever watched in a long time.

It really was.
