Season 10 Episode 9 And So We’re Doing It

One of the things with that I'm being kind of prompted to discuss on the episode is our philosophies on what we did specifically for magic.

So Michaela's in the heat of it, right? Literally-

Right

... and I intend my puns.

[laughs]

Uh-huh.

Right? So Michaela made a bubble of protection.

Yes.

Now, I'm not in the heat of it, so having have distance between me and the fire, the way I looked at it and the spell I cast was, if the fire goes towards Michaela and is going to be an issue, then that fire should be made not only to allow Michaela to survive, but to thrive and succeed.

In other words, if this fire has to go through there and is going through there anyways, set it up so that something...

so that it benefits Michaela.

Like, not only does she survive, but, you know, it brings her good stuff.

So that's two different things.

Now, I'm gonna offer up that because I do magic for the f- for the podcast, and Michaela is part of the podcast, [laughs] I was also asked by the spirits who do the podcast to do another spell, and this one was to reinforce Michaela's spell.

And for those of you wondering, the mama dragon was participating, so it reinforced...

So she reinforced Michaela's spell.

Which is much appreciated-

Yeah

... because I found my bubble was feeling tired, and I can't give you a better, uh, description than that.

That is what, what I was getting.

But the bubble was for the entire town-

Right

... not just for one house.

So it's, it's kind of a big thing to put up there and, and maintain.

Right, which is why I suspect that the sp- the second spell I did was for the bubble was to... because I just specifically said protect Michaela in my spell, my, my spell that I did on my own.
