Isn't that wild? I mean, the last time we talked, we were still in September, and the days just keep flying along here, don't they? They really do.

I mean, of course, minus the outcome on the south side of Chicago this afternoon, but it was a beautiful day otherwise.

You know, we had that stretch of dreary, showery weather a week ago, that middle of the week, so literally a week ago today into Thursday.

We had the remnants, in addition to a weather system that was pushing through, but we had the remnants of a tropical system that was a former hurricane in the Pacific, Polo, That sent moisture up here, and we had two days of rain, and some areas had upwards of three, three and a half inches of rainfall over those two days.

But then we moved that system out of here, and we've just had a gorgeous stretch of weather that started on Friday, and it's continued ever since.

And we've had... quite a sunny start to october which is pretty remarkable you know normally we started start to see the uh cloudy periods kind of dominate our weather scene as we move into you know deeper into fall october of course november december and january are typically our three cloudiest months of the year so that's what we we really start to go into sad season right john seasonal affective disorder but uh October, you know, we normally average about 57%.

And Frank Wachowski, who archives the data so well for us, says that the first week we've had 84%.

If I had 84% on all my tests in high school and college, I'd be doing very, very well.
