No, we met.

It was St. Patrick's Day.

You thought I was one of the bands playing that night.

I did.

Doyle's an Irish name.

We were founded on St. Patrick's Day in 1919.

And yeah, we're very proud of our heritage.

And I know I'm joined at least by one sibling today.

And so we will, uh, always cover that and always cover golf and cover things Irish 'cause we love it.

And, uh, we've, uh, broadcast from Ireland many times on St. Patrick's Day, and it's Michael Patrick Shields, a member of the Michigan Irish American Hall of Fame, which, uh, took place at the Michigan Irish Music Festival in Muskegon, wherever heard on the radio on WKBZ.

We're also on WBRN in Big Rapids and in Benton Harbor, St. Joe, and the great southwest WSJM, Kalamazoo WKZO, WTKG in Grand Rapids, and, uh, AM 730 in the afternoons in the state capital of Lansing, where I know it's gonna be a lovely day.

Having to spend each day the color of the leaves.

When I think it could be nicer being red or yellow or gold or something much more colorful like that.

Well, we're gonna get fall colors pretty soon, but we're also six months till St. Patrick's Day.

And the Michigan Irish Music Festival is this weekend in Muskegon.

I still can't believe it.

And it was quite a day because I was inducted in the same small class with Governor James Blanchard.

So we wish him a very happy St. Patrick's Day.

We also noticed big focus on Ireland because of all the golf events that have been held there in the last three weeks.

Sh- uh, her name is Kirsten Siwi Wawanoloat, and she, in her moons, she re- represented what we can, what we traditionally do and still do in certain parts of the year.

So instead of activities around Valentine's Day or St. Patrick's Day, this curriculum sees the children learn more land-based knowledge.

It doesn't make sense to try and pick up strawberries, uh, when it's the winter, you know? And we don't try to, uh, take mar- maple syrup in August, right? So we want to teach different things about what- what's happening on the land at this moment.

As well as the activities, there are songs to accompany each moon.

If it i- if and when it is implemented, and I do think it will be implemented, um, it'll probably take about three months for it to happen.

So we have a little bit of a ways to go, and there's a timing problem here in terms of, you know, shipping for Christmas, shipping for Saint Patrick's Day, which is the big deadline we're always going for.

So there's still, you know, we're not out of the woods yet, but 2027 is probably when we'll really see the, the, the positive effects of this.

Okay.

He understands that sure, St. Patrick's Day and all the rest of it is just being used as a lure for the Irish to bank all these dollars, billions of dollars in big pharma and big tech as well, I might add.

Both sectors are very much central to modern Ireland.

And it's not that I want to see the Irish economy wrecked at all, far from it.

Got it.

So literally it's like St. Patrick's Day basically, and they hit...
