Jack CocchiarellaHostUh, Zolan Kabbany ambushed Donald Trump pretty much with, uh, with the press during their little appearance at Gracie Mansion.
Of course, when he was at the White House trying to cut a, a ribbon, a little ribbon cutting ceremony, and there was no audio, that was embarrassing.
So Trump is fed up that the media are owning him, not the other way around certainly, and so he took to Truth Social as he was landing, in a disastrous sense, said this.
Trump wrote, "All of these sleaze bags, like third rate reporter Kaitlan Collins of Fake News CNN, a truly unhappy person, said they weren't going to be covering me." That, that's not necessarily true.
"Then, then why were they ranting and raving like lunatics in the press area at the United Nations?" I don't know, maybe they were doing their jobs.
"Why was she there? She got a Trump addiction." She's got a Trump addiction? That's what Kaitlan Collins has, or is she doing her job? "And so does CNN and MSDNC.
They're all sick, treasonous, and demented." So Donald Trump I guess is calling for a trial for treason.
"The good news is that they make a great, for them, and totally disloyal judge.
Make America Great Again, President Donald J. Trump." What do you want, Donald? Do you want them to cover you or not? And by the way, they're not covering you, they're covering the president.
And it's always so funny, it's something that I really hate, when it was always Carolyn Levitt who would do this, but, but truly any Republican would go, "Look, Donald Trump gave a speech today and all the outlets were covering, all the media were giving him, giving him attention." Yeah, 'cause he's the president, right? [laughs] And it's pretty easy to get the media's attention when you're the president, so don't go patting yourself on the back.
