Fitz and Lord Golden are still not getting along. It's been a few days and he's feeling morose and decides to gather his students. Fitz Skills out to call Dutiful and Thick to the tower where they…
yeah While we catch up as another couple of days have passed, Lord Golden emerged from his bedchamber, polished and sophisticated as ever, to announce to all and sundry that he once more enjoyed perfect health.
He has started to liberally apply his Jamelian makeup in even more extravagance.
And Fitz is like, it's probably just to distract from the fact that his skin is darker.
And it seems to work because no one comments on that.
Right.
But now we know for sure and Fitz knows and tells us that it is his kind of customary sickness that he goes through once in a while.
Yes.
And it's really interesting to know that right now he's going through it because that has to mean something has happened, right? Because these sicknesses usually happen when he's on the right path and he's actively doing something that's working, right?
Or some decision has been made, not necessarily that he has been doing anything.
Because remember, he's the prophet, not the catalyst.
That's true.
He just knows it's something.
But then that makes me wonder, what about the last few weeks has been the
decision? I think Fitz decided to be the skill master.
Decided to teach Thicke.
You know, those kinds of decisions.
That's what brought on the illness? Yes.
Yeah, I think that's kind of like the turning point.
Plus, if you take my tinfoil hat theory, maybe also that argument that they had where he collapsed.
He was sick beforehand, but also was doing bad after that argument that they had as well.
True.
That's fair.
Okay.
Well, either way, things are not good between Fitz and the Fool right now.
In fact, the Fool doesn't really come out to play.
