Rosanna is the Hannah Holborn Gray Distinguished Service Professor in the Committee on Social Thought at the University of Chicago.
A recipient of many major fellowships and accolades, she was also Chancellor of the American Academy of Poets from 1999 to 2005.
She's the author of a wonderful book of literary critical essays, Fables of the Self, Studies in Lyric Poetry, and a number of books of poetry, including Departure, Ghost in a Red Hat, So Forth, and I think most recently, Rosanna, Hindsight.
