So what are you optimistic about in, you know, in Australia? Like we've gone through how beautiful Sydney is, but is there anything in the political economy that is working? You write in your essay that one nation are a bunch of nincompoops.

Look, I wrote another essay about like six months or something ago where it was like, you know, it was called Australian ferment or something where, you know, it was like, hey, something's brewing on the right, you know, in Australia, in the political right.

and good for them like i think australians are sick of how broken immigration is and one nation are all about that and paul enhanced talking about that for 20 years and good on her for kind of saying what australians want frankly and so um in some so i don't want to condescend to to her and to to our nation and what they're up to and i think they're often right um I think their challenge is just like attracting talent and building the muscle for governance and competence.

And some of the people involved in that party, you know, that's what I was kind of referring to, kind of nincompoops.

So there's a bunch of folks there where you look at it and you go, this is not the best Australia has to offer.

You know, it's easy for a dude with a blog to say, hey, they're all a bunch of idiots, okay? And so that was probably a glib, you know, and I had to crack at everyone to kind of a fair go.
