Director's Cut: Roman Shipley

Yeah.

So SAIT, it was, it was very overwhelming, very exciting.

Um, amazing instructors all around.

Um, the first project that I think I really got to do was The Bet.

Um, that was kind of the end of the semester project, and I think it was, we had to take three scenes and link them together.

So essentially we had to tell a story in three scenes.

And, um, my buddy Seth, who I'm a close collaborator with now, he was the writer for it, so he wrote it.

Um, my, my friend Brennan, he's the editor, he edited it.

Um, my other close friend Parker, he also acted in it.

Seth also acted in it too.

He, he wrote it and acted in it.

And then I directed it.

And we, uh, made this kinda short little film.

I think it's, like, five minutes long.

It's three scenes.

And it's just a comedy about a buddy who dares his friend to start talking to women and, but his friend kinda has ill intentions behind it.

And those are slowly kind of exposed as they go about their day, as our main character struggles to, to talk to a girl.

[chuckles]

Awesome.

Awesome.
