Speaking of getting behind people, um, news was coming out just in the last 12 hours about your former Force teammate Nathan Charles', um, diagnosis, uh, with motor neuron disease, which is for a bloke who's, you know, f- in, in any instance, tragic, tough, uh, difficult, um, cards to be dealt.

But for a 37-year-old bloke, real- really tough.

Talk about getting behind people.

Like, seeing the way the sporting community, not just rugby league, has gotten around GIRO.

That, that, is that the first thought when you hear news like that? We, we get around Chucky.

We get around Cheese.

We do what we can to support him.

Well, mate, that's the thing.

You know, it can happen to anyone anytime and, and Cheese, he's no stranger to adversity.

He's, he's a tough unit in, in many ways, mentally, physically.

He's been through a lot.

Um, I've done a lot of work with him with his cystic fibrosis over the years and, and he's just always been there to support and, and always has a, a bigger purpose than himself.

And he's, um...

A- and, and now for it to be like this, he doesn't need another challenge like that.

But you know what? He is a tough, he's tough as nails, mate.

I've seen him.

Uh, I've, I've played with him, trained with him.

Enough pre-seasons, been wrestled by him enough times.

He's a, he's a unit.

He's a tough unit, and, uh, and he'll, he'll fight.

I think that's, um, you know, it goes without saying, I think the rugby community and the, and the sporting community will get around him.

Um, and, you know, just some early conversations here this morning, Rugby Australia, you know, will step up and, and, and do something-
