Word Dairy Expo showcases technology advancements including the 50 year relationship between nedap and GEA. We hear from Own Bewley
During World Dairy Expo last week, I got to learn about a piece of technology that for many dairy producers, this partnership that's been in place for 50 years has been in your parlor together, and you might not have even known it.
And I'm talking about the relationship that is happening between NEDAP and GIA.
So we're very fortunate here at NEDAP to not just have a device or a trinket or a piece, but we've really envisioned and created a whole ecosystem that goes around the dairy cow.
And that looks at from health monitoring, milk monitoring, now recently adding cameras and locomotion detection.
And we also have a 3D camera technology powered by AI that's bringing in additional insights.
Additionally, as far as that's measuring data or collecting data from individual cows, and then what do you do with it is really the critical step.
One, a software that gives outcomes as far as calculated algorithms, as far as reproduction, health, fertility.
And here at Expo, we've got a brand new sort gate that's sitting in the middle of our booth that uses a EID or RFID button for animal detection or identification within that gate.
And we're very excited with the gate because we can run 1,000 cows an hour with 99% accuracy.
