Well, let's get to the lead because there's a big game happening in Miami this weekend, Florida State and the Canes squaring off.

The huddle crew will be there.

I will be there.

I've lost track of how many of these games I've been to.

Miami, a 21 and a half point favorite.

Hale, this is the second time in three years the Hurricanes are a three TD favorite over the Seminoles, and it's not really surprising considering where both programs are right now.

But, you know, that kind of leads ultimately to this rivalry just not being what it used to be.

We just saw those clips of Bobby Bowden and all those great Canes teams in the '80s and '90s when they were squaring off as top five, top 10 teams.

Um, it's been a while, Hale, uh, since both of these teams-

Yeah

... were ranked in the top 10, uh, when they played each other.

It happened 13 times previously, uh, but none in the last-

... 10, 15, 20 years, Hale.

Yeah, I mean, that's, the, like, that's the most telling thing, when, as, when both are ranked.

That happened in 23 of 27 years [laughs] from 1981 through 2006.

It's happened just four times since then.

Uh, and even those four times, like, last year was one of those times, but Florida State of course didn't end up being ranked.

Uh, and that ranking that they had proved to be a bit of a over-inflated number.

Um, and, and, and to me, Andrea, like, uh, we've seen it sort of go both ways.

I mean, in the, in the early 2010s when Jimbo had Florida State at the height of its powers, Miami was the one that was sort of a pushover, and Devante Freeman would run all over them in every game.

And, um, you know, I, I, we've seen both sides-
