It was definitely engaging we'll put it that way for me over here in durham north carolina living my regular old life but we had two major arcana cards in play and that is always the recipe for some sort of psychic rearrangement and our card of the month the theme was the chariot our challenge card was was the High Priestess, which was fascinating.

Our Environment card was the chaotic, overeager, sometimes combative Five of Wands.

So actually, we had three major Arcana cards in play, and it's funny that I glossed over the Hanged Man because that card really is slippery in a sense.

So how did this feel for everyone? I have the sensation that this is a group that is not entirely done with me just yet.

And the tension between the willpower and drive of the chariot with the... almost stubborn mystery of the high priestess was pretty acute.

You know, I noticed myself really being drawn into a high priestess orientation that is kind of trying to be a little obtuse about things, wanting to research meditate, really take my time and kind of hide behind some very comfortable positions of neutrality.

Whereas the month was requiring us to be very chariot oriented, which is to really take some stands, get out there and get messy.

And in that sense, the five of wands as our environment was saying, like, yeah, it's not going to be easy.

And I think every time I come to this recording space to talk about our previous reading, I have some version of this statement, which is, I knew that it was going to be difficult, but I didn't know it was going to be this difficult.

It's just, I think part of the chariot's message is that when we are going to new places, the newness is demanding because we've never dealt with it before.

So that is something to really think about for September as you're looking back on these few weeks.

What newness were you having to contend with? And what did you learn in that process? What maybe is now a known quantity that was not before? And I'm kind of curious too, looking at these, how far did you get? And this is not, the distance doesn't really matter, but there is something interesting in that the chariot really seems to be marking a significant transition.

Those first steps are very consequential, and it doesn't seem entirely coincidental that we are in the final quarter of the year.

We had the fall equinox in September, which I feel like I'm still processing, and now we are approaching the end of 2026.

And a reminder, that is our foray to and through the card of the Wheel of Fortune.

How are you feeling? And saying that right now while looking at these cards for September, I am really stuck by the wheel that we see, the circle that is the halo around the hanged man.

So what did you learn in September about, I wouldn't say retreating, but finding peace and stillness, stepping back, while things swirl around you.
