So we have the cups or we have, yeah, the cups element of water and then the king's element as well.

Let's talk about the minor arcana cards associated with Libra.

So we have the two of swords associated with September 23rd through October 2nd.

which is associated with the planet of the moon.

So it says she might be torn between two lovers.

Libra rules the seventh house of relationships, which suggests the young woman's concerns originate in the realm of partnerships and attractions.

Because the Two of Swords is a minor Arcana card and because it's positioned in the early first Deacon of Libra, right, again, the first 10 days, it's not unrealistic to imagine that the woman in the card is young and inexperienced in affairs of the heart.

It's also possible that she's discovering a foundational truth in the Book of Love.

A traditional Tarot deck has 78 cards.

Those cards are divided into two major groups, the Major Arcana and the Minor Arcana.

The Major Arcana contains 22 cards representing larger things, turning points, archetypes, and life lessons.

These cards, such as the Fool, the Magician, the Hermit, Death, the Tower, the Star, the World, Now, before someone hears death and drops the whole deck on the floor, God's death card usually points to a transition, a release, and the ending of one chapter so that something better can begin.

Tarot is full of symbolism.

The picture can look dramatic while the message is much more practical.

The remaining 56 cards form what's called the Minor Arcana.

They're divided into four suits.

It just came out this year.

Is there a sequel plan for the minor arcana perhaps for maybe a different approach or different topics? Or are you like, let me just ride this wave a little bit.

So my own imperfection, my brain is like, okay, you wrote a book.

That's what you were supposed to do.

What's next? And my body and everything else is just like, hey, How about you just slow down and receive what you've done? This is a pretty big thing.

You know, allow yourself to just pat yourself on the back.

How about you celebrate for a little bit, you know? But I have been thinking of potentially doing something with the minor arcana.

just because this was such a major driven book.

You need to understand the relationship between the role and the energy.

So before we close this out, after spending all of this time with the minor arcana together, has your relationship with any of the courts changed?

Well, all of them, considering for like four years I kept making the King of Pentacles.

Was it the King of Pentacles? I don't even remember which card.

Okay.

Yeah.

So this officially brings us to the end of our deeper dive into the Minor Arcana.

We've moved through the Aces, Cups, Swords, Wands, Pentacles, and now the Quartz.

Midnight, and Our Man are recruited by the federal government to rescue a hostage.

Sticking with Lemire, at number 7, we have Minor Arcana number 18.

As we get close to the final arc, the story of our blue-collar psychic and her ridiculously messy personal life reaches an apex with a brutal confrontation with her mother.

At number six, it's Absolute Green Lantern, number 18.

And so last week we talked about the major arcana, why it's not scary.

what the major arcana is and how to read them at least like in a breakneck speed so fast and now we're going to talk about the minor arcana so if we just remember really quickly there's two parts of the deck there's the suits part which is if you think about regular playing cards it mirrors it pretty well and then you have the major arcana which has more to do with like life story stuff And so we talked about the life story piece before, and then now we're talking about the minor arcana.

It did have a renaissance in the Middle Ages and with the Marseille pack, which was all vinyl cuts.

The difference between your normal playing deck that people use for poker and that comes from this pack, uh, it was around long before playing cards were, so they, they've just taken the Minor Arcana out of this pack, and the Minor Arcana means, um, kings down to ace in four suits.

Um, so the playing pack has diamonds, clubs, hearts, and spades, and the tarot suits are, have the same drawings, but it's pentacles, um, cups, uh, wands, and, um, swords.

So that bit's the same.

So it's 78 experiences, 78 lenses, 78 images that capture what it means to be human.

The deck is divided into two groupings, the major arcana, which I just referenced, and the minor arcana.

The major arcana is...

Cards 0 through 21, so it's 22 cards total.

You can run through the major arcana cycle.

You can look at it as a lifetime, but you can also look at it as a continuing spiral through what it means to learn about yourself as a human.

The minor arcana are the remaining cards, and they're divided into four suits, just like a playing card deck.

So there are swords, which have to do with our mental energy.
