In this episode of *In Tune*, Dr. Nick Harvey sits down with Dr. Yina Cuevas to explore how her mother’s experience with fibromyalgia sparked her curiosity about chiropractic and holistic health…
Yeah, that was a big reminder for me to realize too that it's not just what you wanted to feel on the other person.
It was... realizing that I needed to start to feel within myself and start to recognize what's my own energy, what are the thoughts running through my mind, what does that make my body feel, and just understand my own chemistry, right? To be able to meet people where they're at.
I went from Not ever thinking about my breath being something important until becoming super freak about it and going at night in the middle of class, like not in the middle of class, but like at the end of the day, after a long day of classes, just like going for a breath first session for myself.
It's just like getting to feel my own chemistry, you know, get to feel how I am capable of shifting things.
because it is all vibration, right? Like the tone that you're feeling on people, the pain tone, the depressed tone, the high vibration, the love vibration, it's all an energetical tone that when you start to familiarize that within your body, then it's easier to access that on others.
Meditating led me into listening to my thoughts and having a sit down with them and to start to change the story that I thought it was true, that I thought it was who I am, right? And I dove into Joe Dispenza and I went deep into that and When I started learning from him about like how to change your personality, you know, you need to like change who that person thinks about itself.
That helped me realize how much inner work was happening for me whenever I was...
I remember the first time I felt... that gate in network, that subtle vibration that was like, that sucked in.
And one actually from network, one of my biggest mentors, he's also in Puerto Rico.
And I got to see him and shadow him multiple times in his practice because I was so curious how this work could work.
be integrated to civilization, right? Because for us chiropractors, it's like, sure, I'll do whatever you tell me to do.
But for me to see, like, the 70-year-old grandpa, like, getting, like, loving it was pretty exciting.
And I got to get the hands on with him and, like, feel more, you what that felt like.
But definitely shadowing the mentors, like getting exposed to that energetical grid that is possible.
And also, it's not going to be given to you, right? It has to be something that you can feel in yourself to start to feel comfortable.
