144: A SKIMS COMING TO MY CITY? SOMEBODY PINCH ME.

I've never seen the actual live-action Cat in the Hat.

And fun fact, that movie is the reason that Universal Studios never did another live-action Dr. Seuss movie.

[laughs] I mean, the Grinch did so well, and they're doing a sequel, as we talked about last week.

But this Cat in the Hat one did so poorly that they canceled all future live-action Dr. Seuss movies because it-- I, I don't know.

It is bizarre.

So we started watching it, and I've seen, like, clips and stuff online, and I'm like, "I can see why people didn't like this." I feel like it was ahead of its time.

But I did love, I loved the house.

I know, like, the colors were all bizarre and stuff, but the house setup and everything was so good.

I still didn't finish it 'cause I fell asleep.

I, I have that problem [laughs] when I sit down to watch a movie.

I just, I will fall asleep.

So I need to be better at that.

Or maybe just watch movies, like, in the morning or something when I'm awake.

Let's see.

On Thursday night, though, before all this happened, I went to see Supergirl.

And Supergirl has been getting bashed by critics and, like, a lot of people.

And I almost canceled my ticket because I almost let the opinion of others dictate what I do, and I'm glad I didn't because I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I liked it a lot.

So that just goes to show, do not solely listen to critics.

Like, I get...

Like, if you're not a movie buff, going to the theater probably isn't something, like-- Like, I'll just go on a whim.

I'll just be like, "Oh, hey, like, tomorrow after work, like, what's playing? Like, what, which showtimes?" But if you, like, don't go to the movies a lot, like, I get it.

You don't wanna go and waste your time.

Like, you wanna go to a movie you're, you're gonna like and stuff.

But I highly recommend to s- just n- I don't know, don't listen to people's opinions and solely let that dictate, like, what you decide to do.
