So when you think back to why you started and how you imagined things to be, although it does sound like one thing led to another-

but whatever your thought was on what's happening n- happening next, has that changed since then?
It, it morphs, I'd say, especially being a parent [clears throat] and a head of a household, and I made the decision to leave academia in- Mm ... 2022, and that was a pretty scary, bold thing.
But there were incredible people in my life, women especially that- Hmm ... um, I have to name her, but Johanna McKenzie Miller- Oh, yeah ... like brought me into so many different rooms.
And you know, I think of like the college professors that believed in you or a person in your life, whether it was a voice teacher or whomever that saw something in you, and those people are so important.
And I didn't say, "Oh, it has to be Broadway," or, "It has to be-" Mm ... "blah, blah, blah," but now it's impeccable work with great people.
And I think, um, the evolution of, well, being able to still make a living and pay a mortgage and put kids through school, I, I don't know how I'm doing it, but it's, it's going.
And uh, I, I am so grateful for it, and um, I, yeah, now in life, I think I could be a little bit more discerning about- Mm ... what I wanna say yes to.
Is it worth the time away from my family, or does it support this particular artist? Mm.
