What if the material for a facial filler could come from your own blood?
This week I sat down with Ian Mitchell, founder of Wizard Sciences, at ECORE in Encinitas. He walked me through an idea I had a lot of questions about: a gel made from your own plasma and what he calls “day-zero” stem cells.
I wanted to know how that differs from PRP, what he means by waking up dormant cells, and where the laser comes in. His explanation took us from stem cells to tuning forks, light, and the word we kept coming back to: coherence.
I also share what I noticed after an earlier treatment on my hip and wrist. Then we head into the treatment room for my shoulder. You’ll see the injection, the laser session, and my immediate reaction as it happens.
And because it’s Ian, we take a few detours. We talk about the connections he sees between music, architecture, and chemistry; his work with C60; and his theories about water and cellular energy. He also describes the sprout experiment behind his views on structured water.
Stay through the end to come into the treatment room with us.
What we talk about:
• The plasma-and-stem-cell gel Ian describes as an alternative to filler
• What he means by “day-zero” cells and how he distinguishes them from PRP
• My earlier hip and wrist treatment experience
• Photobiomodulation: Ian’s explanation of light and cellular function
• Coherence, tuning forks, and the patterns he sees across disciplines
• C60, mitochondria, and why cellular energy interests him
• His views on water, ATP, and the sprout experiment
• My shoulder injection and laser session, filmed in the treatment room
