Em RuscianoGuestLael StoneHost[gentle music] Parenting is one of the most profound things that we can do, and it can also be one of the loneliest.
We're all doing it, but so many of us are doing it in isolation, wondering if everyone else has it more together than we do.
And that's exactly why my colleague Sam and I created Seen Circles, a place online where parents can come together to feel genuinely seen and heard.
Think of it like a compassionate parenting village online, where you can drop in and out whenever you need some listening or support.
Each circle is facilitated by a skilled person, and some sessions explore a specific theme, while others are simply a space to share what's been on your mind, what you've been navigating, or what's felt hard lately.
Circles run at different times throughout the week to suit everyone's schedule, and there's no pressure to share.
But research shows that when we tell our stories and hear from others, it helps us feel so much less alone.
Everyone gets the opportunity to speak, but you can simply listen if that's what you need.
And the feedback, well, parents are telling us they feel less isolated, more supported, and like they're actually learning something along the way.
