If you have your Bibles this morning, turn it on and let's go to John's Gospel, the book of John chapter nine, verse one.

This is my friend, Jack.

He's doing a fantastic job this morning.

John chapter nine, verse one.

Come on, let's open up our Bibles.

Let's read the story together.

Just so that you know, I preach from this passage on a Sunday night three weeks ago.

So I'm not doing a repeat sermon.

This is a continuation of something in it that I just couldn't let go of.

John chapter nine, verse one.

Are you ready for the Word? Come on, who loves their Bible? As He went along, He saw a man blind from birth.

His disciples asked Him, Rabbi, who sinned? This man or his parents that he was born blind.

Neither this man nor his parents sinned, excuse me, said Jesus.

This happened so that the power of God could be seen in him.

As long as it is his day, we must do the works of him who sent me.

Night is coming when no one can work.

While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

After saying this, he spit on the ground.

Come on, remember this? Made some mud.

It was a reasonable size spittle, made some mud with the saliva and put it on the man's eyes.

Verse seven, Amen.

Father, thank You for Your Word today.

Thank You for the help of the Holy Spirit speaking to our lives, we pray.
