My result the weekend was for Martin United 1, Brora Rangers 4 at North Lodge Park.

In terms of like I just thought Brora's first half performance in particular was very very impressive.

Really once they got the early opener through Connor Bunce they kind of just suffocated for Martin after that to be honest I mean the second one again for Conor Bunce gets a wee bit of luck in terms of there's a slight deflection but he sort of goes for the spectacular with an overhead kick and gets his reward third was a penalty which kind of differing views on whether it should have been awarded maybe like there wasn't any great It was a wee pool for Finlay Morris and Connolly Ewan.

It wasn't any great appeals and the sort of thing you see happen a fair bit at corners and isn't always given, but referee Nathan Crawford gave it and Stuart Anderson sort of said that afterwards.

He was kind of surprised it was given where the Stephen Mackay felt it was a stick-on penalty.

James Anderson scored and then the fourth goal was probably the pick of them, a lovely Broda move, sort of Broda at their best, the way they moved the ball, James Wallace.

finished it off and you know in a game between the sides that were you know third and first last season that I thought beforehand would be sort of really closely contested it was an emphatic victory for Brora despite Hamish Ritchie getting one back for Martin in the second half and I know it's obviously very early on but for Brora to sort of win in that fashion it's a sort of a wee bit of a statement of intent at this stage and that was why it was my result of the weekend I think for Martin as well like Stuart Anderson was saying afterwards defensively it was sort of very out of character with them I mean if you compare it with last season and 17 home league games they didn't lose and only conceded nine goals and then they've conceded four on Saturday so just defensively what wasn't their day at all

bit of shell shock at halftime to find themselves 4-0 down what was it what was it like on the ground

I probably Shellshock's probably the word The word a wee bit Just the way the sort of The game had Got away from them But you know The way Broda had played They were They were on top And that was the score
