Aberdeenshire Cup

Not a lot really coming out of AB24 this week.

The emerging talent squad were beaten 1-0 by Fraserbratt in the semi-final of the Aberdeenshire Cup.

The squad had a few first team players in it, including Frame, Palaversa, Breedle and Nutello.

So when you hear that those players were involved, it's a little bit disappointing.

And Alistair Johnston simply must score to keep Celtic's treble dream alive.

He's out of each cup! Dimitar Mitov! has won the Scottish Cup for Aberdeen it is quite sensational 35 years of pain and misery in this competition has come to an end in Hamden and they have overcome the impossible by doing the unthinkable here given no chance Aberdeen are Scottish Cup winners for the first time since 1990.

Hello and welcome to the latest episode of the Here We Go podcast.

Now, dear listener, my name is Martin Clunis.

The performance at Dens Park, terrible.

But I do think, obviously, there'll be noise around Robinson if the Falkirk game goes badly, and then you think, well, what kind of... confidence could you possibly have for going to Hampden if you're going there in the back of three defeats out of four so again it's a big week for him because people will be on his back if they don't if Aberdeen don't get a result and I don't think any of us could say with any confidence whether they'll win or lose to Falkirk on Wednesday

One thing I would say, and Michael, you'll remember this well because you were very kind enough to come on to our Scottish Cup final pre-podcast.

We were all talking about the woes of how unlikely Aberdeen winning the Scottish Cup was going to be given the fact that we lost our last four games and one or two of them quite handily as well.

Things are starting to, maybe at the start of the season it took a wee bit of time to maybe click but now they're looking like a team going in the right direction and I think generally there's quite a lot for them to be positive about.

21 points now in the league, Aberdeenshire Cup semi-final to come and through in the second round of the Scottish Cup.

I was going to say, that Scottish Cup tie is looking sort of tasty.

How tall is Huntley's Ross still? He's a giant.
