So earlier, uh, on the morning when Pastor Sam sent me the request to share on Genesis 45 and 46, I woke up and heard the Holy Spirit say to me, "All things work together for good to those who love the Lord." When I heard those words, I immediately resisted.
Joseph suffered, but everything worked out together for good to him, for his family, and the nations that he served, as we know from our memory verse.
Now, the c- I find the climax for, of, uh, the Genesis, um, the Joseph story is in these two, these chapters for, for the whole of this week.
What should they expect in return for what they did to him? So in these ch- two chapters, we encounter a lot of crying, extending grace, mercy, fear, forgiveness, restoration, healing.
I will not read the whole two chapters, but just parts of them that the Holy Spirit highlighted to me.
He cried, 'Make everyone go out from me.' So no one stayed with him when Joseph, um, made himself known to his brothers." Now, we all know the story, how it began.
Joseph had every reason to be angry and to get back at his brothers for selling him into slavery.
But no, before revealing his identity to his brothers, Joseph made everyone else leave the room.
