And I think that a lot of times we get people who hear that and think, yeah, I love school choice.
Your funding follows your student because schools are funded based on daily attendance.
And I think that when some nefarious actors talk about school choice, they try to make it seem like those things are not already in place.
This school choice is taking money out of public schools and moving it over to private schools.
But it is these private schools that usually take that funding and move it into private settings that used to be public dollars.
Yes, your money follows your kid, but a lot of these people who access these vouchers were not currently in public school.
And so they come in and they take a voucher and they take it to their private schools.
