So you've finally decided where you want to go on your next vacation. But then you're met with the super hard next step: figuring out specifically where to go in that destination. Which city or…
But where I think I've seen even more of a struggle is not finding a hotel or a flight or choosing what to do or even choosing the destination itself, right? What I think is even more of a struggle is choosing where to go and stay in that destination.
Like, okay, you know in your soul that you want to go to France, but are you spending your whole time in Paris? Or are you splitting time between Paris and the south of France? Are you spending some time in the lower valley? Or do you want to take in the military history up on the beaches of Normandy? That's actually really far from Paris.
And even though that's longer than the average person typically has for an Italy vacation, it's still super hard to narrow down where specifically she wants to stay as her home base to make sure she gets to do and see the things she wants to do.
And it's so funny because she was reading her list of places off to me on our free consultation call.
And she was like, and I have Rome on my list, but I don't know, I guess it's just one of those places I need to go, but I don't really know why I need to go there.
And that is mainly why this conversation is so important, because as we approach a vacation to somewhere like Italy, where everywhere is fabulous and it's not a small country and it's overwhelming to choose a handful of places to concentrate our time, as we approach a vacation to a destination like that, we're like, Well, I guess I have to stay in Rome because it's the capital city.
And I could already hear in her voice that she was not really looking forward to Rome.
Like in all likelihood, we're going to find a way for her to do some of the main Rome sightseeing.
but we're probably gonna find other places in Italy that make her like, oh my gosh, that's where I wanna stay.
And that's the goal, right? This totally reminds me of the conversation I had with the man who was full on arguing with me about when you go to certain places, you have to do those certain sightseeing things.
And it still fires me up a little bit because I don't want you to think that.
