All right, so I thought we'd just start this video by having a look at some articles.
One of the articles I've pulled up here is from CNBC, and the headline for this article is Alphabet Stock Sinks on Revenue Miss.
Expectations were $10.42, but they ended up doing about $13 in earnings, which is a massive beat in terms of earnings per share.
But investors didn't seem to like it because the stock still went down after-hours after the earnings was released.
Since earnings was released a couple of days ago, the stock is down over 3%, and from its highs a couple months ago, it's down over 15%.
So the stock is now officially in a correction, um, and it's been going down for quite a while, which is why I'm beginning to become more interested in Google to see if there's an opportunity for me to make an investment, because of course they're still growing their earnings at 20-plus percent per quarter, uh, and their stock price has fallen 15%.
Even if they're missing expectations, it's really great to see them putting out double-digit growth and to see the stock fall double digits, because it means that either the stock price was overvalued and it's coming down, which is what I like to see anyway, or it means that the stock is now in undervalued territory, where the stock price is way undervaluing the actual performance of the business.
