Um, you know, for, for those who were along, uh, in the OG version of Habs Tonight, uh, welcome back.

We're, we're thrilled to be doing this.

Brando, this has been a blast.

The pregame show, we, you know, we, we merged minds with the, the Cavallaros and Sick Media and, and I think this has been a, a great venture so far, and we're just getting started, and the Montreal Canadiens are just getting started.

Brando, I think that's something that might be missed, um, you know, maybe not talked about enough, is the fact that they're just scratching the surface.

This team will be even better for years to come.

But going back now to game one and game two, Brando, I'd like to get positive with you, right? We coined the term Habsitivity on this show a while back, and we're g- we keep bringing it up, all right? Habsitivity.

In game one and game two, which aspects of their game would you say you're more encouraged at, encouraged by that they can keep doing for the rest of this series?

I, I really liked their ability in game one on the breakout with that, we talked about it with Pierre, with the quick outlet pass up the wall to the neutral zone, bumping it back to the guy with speed, and, and Carolina caught on to that.

But Montreal has the decor to either skate it out with possession or make those passes, depending on the forecheck.

And I think o- if you can get away from the first or second forecheck that Carolina's bringing down, Montreal's gonna have success.

I think that starts with the decor, and-

I, I think they have the decor to do it.

So that would be one of the positive things, I think, is Montreal knows that they can, they can, they can play with these guys.

It's not like the, the almighty Hurricanes, like, it, it's just completely done.

I think that they're, they've found something, and I'm hoping that they can kind of exploit it a little bit more tonight with, uh, last change.

Exactly.

I th- I think you hit the nail on the head here.

Good defense provides good offense, and, and the Canadiens have done that all season long, right? So much contribution from their backend, and they've got the guys to do that.

They've got the personnel, the mobility, the vision, the creativity, and of course, the schemes, right? The systems.

It's been working, and I think the Habs match up really well against Carolina.

Now, game two, you know, I think might have honestly been predictable in a sense.
