Uh, I wanna talk about the AI hack from, uh, OpenAI and the Hugging Face thing that we talked about-
Uh, it's been, it's been making the rounds now, and you're hearing more about what happened on it, and it just, it's starting to piss me off even more because I'm like, you know, if a person did this hack, if, if my program hacked into another company and tried to exfiltrate data, just even hacking into another person's company, we have this thing called the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, which makes it a felony for you or me, Brian, to hack into somebody else's computer.
[laughs] I was doing, doing my research on it, figuring out why they couldn't be charged with this, and there, there is some nuance in the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act where it comes down to intent.
So if you do just happen to fuck up and hack everybody, well, guess you're okay.
So if you have something on a loop that just goes give me an answer, work on that answer, give me an answer, work on that answer, and L- LLMs have no memory, so every time you're prompting it you're getting the results back from the last call, and then plush it, plugging it back in.
So it doesn't take much to take this thing and skew it to where it just goes out to left fucking field and does what it wants.
