One of the things that stands out to me is I just recorded my last, um, podcast with, um, Laura from La Jefa-

La Jefa Collective, and, um, we spoke about how a lot of Latina women are leaving the workforce for opportunities and because they are having that lack of mentorship and lack of developmental opportunities.

So I mean, when you're, when I hear the story of, "I'm not feeling like I can grow, and I'm not getting these opportunities," and they're just keeping you in a box.

... to develop your people to, to promote into the organization and to become long-term, um, contributing employees that know the business and move up, you have to start giving them opportunities to grow and to take on more responsibility and step into roles maybe a little bit higher up, but not fully.

You know? Like maybe they get some tasks and they engage, and you have to start training them to do that.

[lip smack] So I think it's really fitting, I guess, that you say that, and then now here you are in this new role, and that's happened to you twice.

And that is something, as a change manager, that we talk about quite a bit, which you don't really realize going through a change of your day-to-day, your job, and even a change on how you do your job.
