finally get my moment what's up guys um yeah man it's good to be back yeah man miss chatting with you i miss miss anthony i wish he was here because he's way more fun to look at than you but true we'll get him back soon that's bring me back when he's when he's ready um Yeah, that transition, man, that was back in, it was around in 2017 was when that was year seven of touring with Lady A.

And we, I just felt we had our, our eldest daughter out with us at that point.

And had been touring with her and then bringing our nanny around so that I could still be playing on the road, but also juggling baby on the road with Hill.

And when we found out we were pregnant, it felt like, okay, well, we can probably... pull this off.

I felt just, I felt God speaking to my heart that I, I had learned what I needed to learn in that seat and that, that season.

Um, And I knew I was at peace with whenever and however transition had to happen, whether it meant I kept playing with them for years or if I stepped back, I knew at some point, even if we don't have other children, Isley's going to be more and more involved in school life as she gets into older grades.

and push comes to shove, the lead singer is going to be the one that everyone wants to keep on the road, not the drummer's replaceable.

So I knew even if it wasn't anytime soon, I just was prayerfully aware that whenever and however that shifting needs to happen, that last year or two leading up to that, I had felt like I'd just really grown and found peace with, I love this out here.
