Tonight, we're here to discuss my vision for a new South Carolina, as we've spent the last 24 years living in the old one.

The old South Carolina has given us the worst roads in the entire country, terrible education, terrible healthcare, and just a bad quality of life.

But my vision is for a new South Carolina, a new South Carolina where we're actually gonna fight the corrupt establishment which my opponent has spent the last 16 years a part of.

This new South Carolina is one where we're gonna define the success of South Carolina not by how its business are doing, but how its people are doing.
A single mom who saved, worked hard, bought a home, and couldn't afford to stay in it.
As your next governor, I will bring in a new generation of leadership to upend the status quo.
I will work with Republicans and Democrats to make our state safer and more affordable for you and your family.
All right, candidates.
Thank you both for your willingness to be here this evening and your public service to South Carolina.
We'll take a short break.
When we come back, we'll have questions from our panelists along with questions from voters.
And tonight, the candidates will even have an opportunity to ask each other a question.
