More good than there has been in a long time last week, but the bad was still there as well.
I guess you can kind of look at it two ways.
Is the finish that he finished with all the good, so to say, that much of a progress in itself? Or is it just nice to see him? I mean, he was three back on pretty late in the Friday.
Yeah.
three back pretty early into Saturday as well.
So like there was an opening there.
You just kind of felt like the golf wasn't sustainable.
He didn't play very sustainable golf.
The first 30 holes of the tournament.
I mean the first 40 holes of the tournament, but he made a few long putts and he, he grinded, but you did kind of feel like the wheels were going to come off and they did.
But yeah, I think that kind of just solidifies that this is a pretty lost season and we're um we're on to 2028 or i mean 20 to 2027 so you're already maybe we are on a 2028

no it's um like you said it's kind of a sad state of affairs when you feel a little tingle of excitement at the rocket in july for two hours on saturday um friday was a bunch of birdies too many bogeys but those kind of rounds are um sort of fun to to be a part of um and made a bunch of birdies this week which was nice i think he was i mean it was his best event since the pga so two and a half months of of tournaments and this one was by far the best he's played about a shot a day, maybe a shot and a half a day better than the average of the past six tournaments.
Some decent stuff.
Had a three-hole stretch on Saturday.
I believe it was double and then bogey that kind of eliminated any chance of getting into the house with the 65 or 64 and, and feeling okay about going into, uh, tomorrow or, uh, into the Sunday with, with an outside chance, but, um, overall some better play.
The approach play was, was okay.
He was pretty solid off T obviously a pretty wide ballpark.
I don't know how much you watched of it, Bob, but of course, um, certainly played better as a par 70 obviously was still pretty easy, but I think what they did with the taking out a bunch of the water and just adding like native areas and long grass made it look kind of visually.

think that the, I think that the golf course for me went from one of, if not the worst course on tour to like, skyrocketing to like middle.
Yeah.
Maybe just lower middle because I found the golf course quite enjoyable actually.
