Beth Stolarczyk & Jon Brennan: “Expensive Smoothie”

Now listen, um, last night was a big night here in Music City, and I'm gonna tell you all about it when we come right back on Getting Real with John and Beth.

So what happened in Music City, John?

Okay.

So Nashville is Music City.

Nashville, the fastest-growing city in the nation.

It doesn't even resemble the old Nashville.

I mean, buildings and streets and establishments.

It's crazy.

Uh, we're getting ready to have a huge July 4th extravaganza.

And, I mean, the fireworks that they do here in Nashville I think is gonna be on television.

Um, it rivals what happens in New York.

I mean, it's, it's, it's crazy, uh, huge.

But last night was the end of an era here in Music City.

Uh-

Really?

Are you familiar with Alan Jackson, one of the biggest country stars on the planet? Can you name me an Alan Jackson song?

Oh, John.

I mean, I've heard his name.

D- haven't you been-

Mm-hmm

... singing some Alan Jackson songs?

Yeah.

Did you sing some Alan Jackson songs on The Real World 1993?

I did.

I did.
