happening with you? Anything exciting? Mate, nothing exciting, but I've been keeping my fingers crossed all week.
Yeah.
Because since we've come back on the trip, there's always something you've got to fix.
And I've been getting this really weird vibration under my car.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'm pretty mechanically minded.
Growing up with a dad who was a motor mechanic, I learnt a lot.
And I thought
I'll have a look underneath.
And yeah, I've got virtually no centre bearing left in my tail shaft.
All my unis are bright red from Big Red.
Lovely.
So I
reckon they're both flogged out by all the sand and the kilometres.
Yeah.
So I've just spent the week negotiating with a company I won't talk about, trying to get a brand new tail shaft under my car.
So finally, I come home on a Friday with a tail shaft.
It's worked out okay.
we had talked about this off air I did mention well let's chuck the portable mics on and record an episode and we'll get the thing put in no it'll just
be full of swear words nah there's that much mud and dirt still under my car that even with the rain we've had like it takes weeks for this stuff to come
out it's once it's been wet too and you had plenty of water up there oh yeah it sets like concrete too quite a bit yep
if it's warm enough 100% but if it if like because up there yeah we had all the dust we had the mud um when we're at the back of windora um it just glued yeah like it was six inches thick under some parts of the car yeah so that all fell off that was good then there was all the puddles so that washed a hell of a lot off there
yeah
but actually getting back to what it should be yeah So yeah, now look, the worst case scenario, I've got to, I had to replace the tail shaft anyway.
