#46 - Pavlovian Conditioning in the Classroom? w/ Dr. Rick Colombo

Caleb, do you think that we do too much in the areas of respondent, Pavlovian conditioning? Have we done too much of that?

I don't think so.

I mean, for a while we did nothing.

And then more recently, within the last year, we've done something.

So we've had...

Two?

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah, we've done two episodes with Dr. Domian, which I've really enjoyed.

I think that that's an important piece to add into our content.

I saw that he released a new video on his YouTube this past week.

And it's just so fun.

He's just like such a nice person.

Yeah.

Super smart guy.

And he's like, just the way he explains stuff.

I think he does it in a really nice way.

So we were actually looking, I think I, I can't remember if I sent this to you, but like on LinkedIn, we saw like one of our colleagues, um, that we've known for a while had released this, this new paper, uh, related to Pavlovian conditioning, but he's actually, uh, an applied researcher.

And so it was like kind of interesting.

Yeah, it was, uh, so a JAB, uh,

publication so

journal of experimental analysis of behavior but yeah it's like with like preschool or not preschool kindergarten kindergarteners yeah yeah like uh classical conditioning with kindergarten classroom i don't it seemed like pretty cool

yeah and so when uh i saw that i was like caleb this is uh this is a podcast episode right we should see if uh

Yeah, because we've been wanting to have this person on the podcast for a while.

Right.

I mean, what we should do is we should just go see if he's available.
