From The Hive: Episode 83 (September 21, 2026)

Okay, so mine is about the Sydney Sweeney new sports ad.

I have a lot to say about this one.

So recently, Sydney Sweeney did an ad campaign for the sports prediction app, Noving, and she was, like, completely nude in the ad.

And it was a very, like, suggestive tone throughout the ad, and a lot of female athletes have criticized the app, like, the ad as being, like, very sexual like very sexualizing and devaluing women's sports and a lot of a lot of people have had criticism for that like also as well as like just the idea of sports betting in general but um basically amid the controversy she's lost over 200 000 instagram followers wow and it is just a crazy scene right now um but Sydney Sweeney also was in a lot of trouble last year for her ad with American Eagle I actually did a project for that from one of my communications classes um it was really interesting to do that but yeah she's just in a lot of hot water and she yeah she's very interesting I'm not really a big fan of her personally

I hate Sydney Sweeney I hate her.

She's an embarrassment to women.

Katie said that about me.

I don't care.

Basically, I'm not a fan of her, but she did have a really good cameo in The Handmaid's Tale.

She was much younger, and I was before all of Euphoria and the really hyper-sexualization of her.

But it's really sad to see like this ad and also just the way I am glad that it got a lot of backlash online.

Yeah.

Yeah.

I know a lot of people are like, oh, like I miss like her before Euphoria.

And I'm like, OK, I understand that like a role like that can be like really tricky for your career.

Like you look at the kids who do who did Disney and like they never got out of that.

Like I'm doing high school musical or whatever.

But at the same time, I'm like, if you are such a good actor, I think your acting skills should speak for themselves.

And she has completely played into the hand of everyone sexualizing her.

I hate her.
