Well, and they're releasing also, they're doing Narnia and theaters are doing, uh, the, the Cliff Booth movie.

So, uh, I think they said that, but I do think they are starting after they didn't get WB.

I think that, yeah, Netflix will begin reporting box office numbers for the six upcoming movies they're giving theatrical release.

Greta Gerwig's Narnia is going big while on the topic of adaptations.

Greta Gerwig is apparently going big with her new upcoming Narnia adaptation.

The film is reportedly working with a $280 million budget.

Yeah, I know, right? I love Narnia.

Wednesday night's game will be the Patriots versus the Seahawks, and the Seahawks won the last Super Bowl, right? Now, the next Super Bowl is the crazy one that's on Valentine's Day.

This is gonna be nuts! Only Greta Gerwig's Narnia in IMAX, and I think other screens as well, that's the only movie that dares to open that weekend.

That's gonna be a crazy weekend, I'm excited.

Then on Thursday, I mean, I just can't believe they're having the Super Bowl on Valentine's Day.

Um, Zero A.D. comes out on December 11th, which I think looks interesting.

And also Narnia, The Magician's Nephew, the newest Greta Gerwig movie, comes out on February 12th.

So I'm curious what Greta Gerwig...

She's got a great track record, you know? And I'm curious what she's going to do with a Narnia movie.

And I think that also...

I think it's going to play in theaters and also on Netflix.

The throwbacks aren't slowing down, either.

Practical Magic 2 and Falkland Law hit theaters soon, while Shrek 5 and Greta Gerwig's Narnia film are slated for 2027.

Right, because he's a highly respected director of photography, and he's on a completely unrelated show just chatting when he casually drops the information that Greta Gerwig's new Narnia movie for Netflix has a production budget of two hundred and eighty million dollars.

I literally had to read that sentence twice.

Two hundred and eighty million dollars.

All righty, on the not list, things that I'm not looking forward to.

So they're redoing the Narnia universe with Greta Gerwig.

What in the F? Why? Why? Unnecessary.

Why? [door squeaking] [door slamming] [glass breaking] [woman screaming] So you're going to take one of the great pieces of Christian fiction ever written, and you're gonna hand it to Greta Gerwig, who, again, is pretty famous for subverting a lot of, of those ideas.

Anyway, not looking forward to the Narnia universe led by Greta Gerwig.

Maybe I'll be wrong.

But now we have four recent examples that Netflix could be changing its tune about movie theaters.

One, the company is giving Greta Gerwig's Chronicles of Narnia movie, The Magician's Nephew, a full theatrical release.

It will first open in IMAX and traditional theaters nationwide on February 12, 2027.

And then it will come to Netflix 51 days later on April 2, 2027.
