So we're gonna start off with that kind of irreverence today because we are talking about, um, Jesus and the church: tsk, what's the difference? And r-

And we do this, and we know that just by those two words, Jesus and church, in the title, uh, we've triggered people out there.

We've said a couple times, but it's, but it's important to do this when we talk about this subject, that our goal is to change the human conversation on love and inclusion.

We're not trying to get you or anyone out there to have a particular faith experience.

We don't want to make people come to church or come back to church or leave the church, but we don't want people to be hurt by exclusion that they've experienced in the church or through religion.

And again, most of that exclusion for this community has come from the church, and that's why we're talking about it.

So if you're someone who gets triggered by talk about God or church or Jesus, I don't blame you.

We do this work to try to prevent that kind of heartache and exclusion from happening, uh, so that's why we're talking about it.

Um, it makes us want nothing to do with this and nothing to do with any of this, and often nothing to do with God or Jesus.
