What does that mean for Franklin? You got $31.2 million in Chapter 70 education funding.
And you will, I would imagine you're going to remain in a hold harmless state for the rest of my lifetime.
You got 3.3 million in unrestricted, 3.3 million in unrestricted general government aid, and that's to help you support other services in town.
You got 1.8 million dollars in chapter 90 funding, which is to better the roads and bridges.
I'll talk a little bit about some earmarks that I worked on, and I know that Senator Rausch worked on some earmarks, so I will not steal her thunder on those, but we got $150,000 for the Franklin Middle School for its library renovation, $100,000 for the Franklin Performing Arts Company, $100,000 for the Safe Coalition, and I'm anxious to hear Jennifer Knight come up and talk about that.
Another $50,000 for the Franklin Food Pantry, $25,000 for the Franklin Downtown Partnership, and $25,000 for the Franklin Creative Center for the Arts, which is on Main Street.
We did put in one of my initiatives is the Genocide Education Act, and we put $3 million into that fund.
And we wanted to put money behind that effort so that schools would not face any unfunded mandates.
Over 200 vehicles bringing, I saw snow blowers, lawn mowers, you name it, it was brought to this recycling event.
